How to Create a Landing Page

“Your landing page is the first impression that a prospect has of your business. Make it count!”

– Russel Brunson –

If you do not have a landing page yet this article will be perfect for you to create landing page. If you have not built one that works, this article will help get you started. To be frank, I am not a landing page guru, just an expert on what does not work and what you really need.

Creating a landing page is a crucial step in your digital marketing strategy. This was the one step that really created a bottleneck in my company 20 years ago. NOW things have changed, and it is much simpler, faster, and much less expensive.  It’s the page that your visitors land on after clicking on an ad or a social media post, and it’s where you have the opportunity to convert them into leads or customers. In this article, we’ll go over some of the best practices for creating a great landing page that converts.

Define Your Goal and Audience:

Before you start creating your landing page, you need to define your goal and your target audience. What action do you want your visitors to take? Do you want them to sign up for your email list, download an ebook, or buy a product? Knowing your goal will help you create a clear and focused message that resonates with your audience.

Craft a Compelling Headline

“Your LANDING PAGE STINKS but WE CAN FIX IT!” THIS IS A HEADLINE. Your headline is the first thing that your visitors will see when they land on your page. It needs to be clear, concise, and attention-grabbing. Use strong language and make sure it communicates the benefit of your offer.

Use Persuasive Copy

Your landing page copy should be focused on your visitors and the benefits they’ll get from your offer for this you need landing page best practices. Use persuasive language and highlight the unique value proposition of your product or service. Keep your sentences short and easy to read, and use bullet points to break up the text. Most people will never read all the copy that is on the landing page EVEN if they buy or register for something. They will focus on The headlines and the problem you are solving so be smart.

Include a Video

A video is a great way to showcase your product or service and increase engagement also called best converting landing pages. Use a short and engaging video that highlights the benefits of your offer and includes a clear call-to-action. At The INCubator Networking and Marketing Mastermind Group we dedicate a lot of our member’s time to learning how to create a GREAT 1-3 minute PITCH for their landing page. Nothing can be more important, if you get everything RIGHT and this WRONG you are lost. When you get the Video RIGHT everything else will matter less.

Make It Easy To Convert

Your call-to-action (CTA) should be clear and prominent on the page. Use contrasting colors and make sure it stands out from the rest of the content. Use action-oriented language on your CTA, such as “Get your free trial” or “Sign up now”.CTA EXAMPLE & shameless plug: Build Better Landing Pages NOW, Click Here!

Collect Emails

Now most people who come to The INCubator Networking and Marketing Mastermind Group have somehow NOT mastered this idea. Your “Networth is defined by your “NETWORK,” and your network is stored in your CRM as an email and phone number list.

STOP: Stop giving yourself credit for bad behavior. When you do not have a growing organized list your business is losing money, and in most cases, you will eventually close your doors. Our goal is that you never become a statistic for what should not happen, instead become a statistic for what is POSSIBLE when you do a few things right.

One of the most common goals for a landing page is to collect email addresses. Make sure you have a clear and compelling lead magnet, such as an ebook or a free course, and use a form to collect email addresses.

So here we are, you now know a little something about landing pages. Creating a great landing page requires focus, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of your audience.
